The firm performs substantial work for labor organizations and employees in the rail and airline industry
    under the Railway Labor Act.

From 1985 onward, the firm's lawyers have represented clients in connection with many major air carrier
transactions and bankruptcies The legal services provided in these matters range from advice and negotiations
to arbitration and litigation before the federal courts and administrative agencies.  In other cases, we have
represented mechanics and pilots under the Federal Aviation Regulations generally, as well as in connection
with aircraft accidents.  Our familiarity with air carrier economics is reflected by our representation of employee
interests before the U.S. Department of Transportation under Section 43 of the Airline Deregulation Act of
1978.  Over time, we have represented the interests of virtually every major craft or class (though, of course, not
on every carrier) in the every sector of the airline industry.

The firm also provides representation to major rail labor organizations in both collective bargaining and
before federal Presidential Emergency Boards established by the President of the United States in labor
emergencies arising under Section 10 of the
Railway Labor Act. Further, we provide representation in litigation to rail labor organizations.
