The firm represents and advises clients concerning issues arising under the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA), the Labor Management Relations Act (LMRA), the Labor Management Reporting and Disclosure Act (LMRDA), the Railway Labor Act (RLA), the public employment statutes and regulations of the District of Columbia and several states, the Employment Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), and numerous other federal, state and local laws. Our firm performs substantial work for labor organizations and employees in the railroad and airline industries under the Railway Labor Act. Since 1985, the firm's attorneys have represented clients in major air carrier transactions and bankruptcies. The legal services provided in these matters range from advice and negotiations to arbitration and litigation before the federal courts and administrative agencies. In other cases, we have represented mechanics and pilots under the Federal Aviation Regulations generally, as well as aircraft accidents. In the railroad industry, the firm’s lawyers serve as professional negotiators for coalitions of rail labor organizations in national freight and passenger collective bargaining negotiations.

Our attorneys recognize that one of the key elements to a successful law practice is developing strong relationships with our clients.

Our firm also has a significant practice in representing labor organizations and employees in a variety of industries, including trucking, warehousing and local delivery operations. Our skilled attorneys provide day-to-day legal advice and formal representation in litigation, administrative proceedings and arbitrations. In addition, our attorneys provide advice and support for Union negotiators and representatives in the negotiation and administration of collective bargaining agreements with Employers engaged in interstate commerce throughout the United States.

Our attorneys recognize that one of the key elements to a successful law practice is building strong relationships with our clients. Those relationships are forged by listening to the client's needs and developing practical ideas and strategies to meet or exceed the desired expectations. It takes an extensive procedural knowledge to achieve those results, whether through arbitration, negotiation, litigation, or other remedy.  As a result, our firm pursues a pragmatic and assertive approach to representation.  Our legal team works in tandem to provide the breadth and depth of experience necessary to solve the complex issues in today’s workplace.  Ultimately, we believe in representing our client’s interests with uncompromising expertise, determination and loyalty.
